Welcome! Roots Artist Registry is an online arts registry and artist directory of currently practicing visual, performing, and literary artists. The mission of Roots Artist Registry is to support the arts by connecting artists with the general pubic, art leaders, collectors, and other arts professionals.
Artist Listings
Roots Artist Registry lists currently practicing visual, performing, and literary artists who demonstrate quality, craftsmanship, and unity in their work, as well as commitment to their art through a record of artistic contributions to their community by exhibiting, performing, presenting, or publishing their work. Artists with a website/webpage are welcome to submit a listing to Roots Artist Registry. (All other artists, artisans, craft artists and art students, and artists without websites, please see the "Artist Services & Shops Listings" section below.)
Registered artists may also be promoted via email newsletters, online exhibitions, and social media.

Please note: Providing heritage/demographic category is by self-identification and optional (but highly encouraged!). List multiple categories if they apply. "Woman" is a category option. Please feel free to suggest options by adding them to your listing.
Cost: $10 to apply for a new permanent listing, $5 to update or change a listing
(If your web link is broken, your listing will be temporarily removed until your link is active and you have paid the $4 update fee.)

Roots Artist Registry offers an Art Services & Shops page that lists (1) services provided by artists; (2) online stores run by artists selling handmade/artist designed goods and products; and (3) businesses that provide artistic services provided directly by an artist, and (4) artist run galleries. Categories include but are not limited to: Apparel/ Fashion Art; Jewelry; Crafts/Artisan Goods; Art Classes/Workshops; Event Photography; Mural Service, Graphic Design Service, Tattoo Service, Artist-run Galleries, etc. The link can be a website, webpage, or a dedicated social media link.

Roots Artist Registry welcomes ads by artists, art organizations, or businesses. The entire ad will appear on three pages as a live link. (Ad space is currently available, temporary ads may be in place.)
Artists and Art Services & Shops currently listed may also be Advertisement Sponsors.
Included ad information: Name, description (7 word max), one image/logo, and a link. The ad will be formatted for you.
Cost: $3 per month per ad, payable as $36 per year
(If for any reason, your ad inquiry is not accepted, you will be refunded in full.)
Year term begins the date ad is published to site and notification is sent. Payments are non-refundable after 5 days.
